Feast of the Epiphany

 

The world is made of

      sparkling awareness.

           Just to be awake
     is Christ.

This is why we're always

     arriving
          at journey's end,
     our home is everywhere,

and the source
     of abundance

           is our gratitude.

Thank you, willow.

      Thank you, morning star.

          Thank you, wise men

      and shepherds,

           donkey and dove.

We bow down in all

           directions at once

      because we are

           each other.
Our foreheads
     ignite the straw.

Thank you, infant light

      of sparkling awareness

           for our

     never-ending birth.
