Dancing the Heart Sutra

"Form is emptiness, emptiness is form." ~Heart Sutra

"The closer you get to real matter, rock air fire and wood, boy, the more spiritual the world is." ~Jack Kerouac
The mountain is dancing. The empty sky is dense as amethyst. Your bones are solidified awareness. Yet solidity is only a mode of perception. To an electron, a stone is vast space. To quantum science, the empty vacuum is granulated, arenarious, gritty with virtual electrons. Matter and the void are simply concepts, mental asymptotes we approximate in curves of breathing. Consciousness is the energy of the flesh. If you are a sentient being, is impossible NOT to be embodied. Even the cosmic Buddha has a body made of pure Being, the Dharmakaya. Krishna has a body made of bliss. The New Testament reveals the universal body of Christ, "who fills all in all... and we are members of his body" (Ephesians 1:23 and 5:30). The very concept of "embodiment" is just another form of dualism, since it implies there could be anything else. Nothing is outside the energy of the body, because nothing is outside the energy of awareness. Spiritual folks once prided themselves on being "holier than thou." Now its spiritually trendy to be "more embodied than thou." If we don't comprehend another's mystical experience, we accuse them of denying their body or "spiritual by-passing." But they are just as embodied as we are, they simply taste a different vibration of the one energy. Flesh and spirit are the same stuff. Forget about embodiment and dance.
