No More Workshops

I am giving a workshop on being nobody. It's free. It's happening now. You have already joined. We're about half way through, always. Are you enjoying the workshop? Of course not. Yet you are happy for no reason. Who is the teacher? No one. What is the teaching? Not this, not this. Just observe what flows in and out, and be grateful. There will be no more workshops. You are finished now. A purple crocus emerges from the snow. Deep in the woods at 5 A.M., a Barred Owl asks Who? Who are you? From some space of delight and courage where you've never been before, a melting transparency inside silence itself awakens, and from that trembling stillness the question arises, "What if nothing is wrong?" Now you remember the three precious talismans you received for the journey just before you were born. You still carry them in a deerskin medicine pouch pressed against your left nipple: this breath, this moment, this heartbeat. And you recall the voice that whispered, "With these invisible jewels, nothing is impossible." You feel strangely ready for the pilgrimage. But there is nowhere to go. The earth is a good place to be. So what if your heart is broken? So what if your heart is broken by the hummingbird who drinks from a frozen rose this Winter morning?
