Golden honey mushrooms 

wriggle the earth to mingle 

your toes murmuring, 

"Underworld body!"
Listen!
Winged glisteners flirt and glance
from the mirror in the back of your eye,
whispering, "Galaxies within!"

Earth is a terrible sweet mirage
suffusing the blue sky 

in your heart.
How could you be lonely?
Each body a parenthesis
in unbounded space.
Listen!
Each creature a wave of silence

in the unstruck sound
that gongs out of your breastbone.
This is why you are always falling
in love.
Listen!
The Milky Way is a singing bowel
in your abdomen. 

You are God's finger 

circling its rim until 

you hear it 

ring.
