Wed

a lover

to your breath.

Then you will understand

that here in this body,

wherever you may go,

awareness of awareness

is better than a thousand

mountaintops,

and by your footpath

through this ruined

apple orchard

a tiny blossoming

forget-me-not enfolds

the boundless sky.

O traveler,

stop!
